Collection: Loacker

Over time, the family business founded by Alfons Loacker in 1925 has developed from a small regional confectioner to a globally known brand with products that delight people in more than 100 countries. All Loacker products are made and packaged in the heart of the Alps according to the highest quality standards. In addition to the two production sites, Loacker operates eight Loacker Stores, consisting of the Loacker Moccaria and the Loacker BrandStore. The Heinfels site also boasts Loacker's World of Goodness with an interactive exhibition and a Pastry Workshop.

Internationalisation

Currently, Loacker is exporting its products to over 100 countries on five continents. The main market is still Italy where Loacker has always been the market leader. However, exports abroad are increasing all the time: Particularly in the Middle East, mainly Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Israel, but also from South Korea to Australia - the company constantly increases export and turnover. A result we owe to a flexible and efficient company structure as well as trade relations based on reliability and openness.

As an internationally-orientated company, we work with people of different cultures and languages within and outside the company. We believe that understanding and respecting how others think, being open and honest with one another and having an appreciative approach is the basis for mutual growth and profitable, long-term co-operation.

Integration

Loacker operates backwards integration with the new hazelnut cultivation that was started in 2015 in Tuscany, and forwards integration with the opening of additional Loacker Points.

In order to secure high quality hazelnuts from Italy long-term and to acquire them sustainably, Loacker has started its own independent cultivation and contract cultivation in Tuscany: Sustainable cultivation is held in high regard, and we also get local farmers involved in this.

The aim of forwards integration is guaranteeing Loacker's goodness experience not only through our raw material procurement and production but also in the last step of the supply chain: during direct contact with the consumer in the Loacker Points.
