Pancetta is a dry-cured meat that is similar to American bacon. Pancetta, meaning "small stomach" in Italian, is salt-cured and spiced pork belly. It can be enjoyed as an appetizer by taking the long pancetta and slicing it into very thing, circular slices and served as a plate or in a sandwich. Pancetta is also often used to enhance the taste of pasta sauces and other dishes.
So fresh and so delicious I made carbonara and it was incredible. It is a must have.
