Rex Candied Citron Cedro Halves in Cup, 2 lbs

It makes a big difference getting it on the Internet rather then at the grocers. I can get it in larger fresher pieces instead of diced and then add on travel to the warehouse, warehouse time, travel to the grocers, and time unloading, and sitting on shelves. I made some sweet orange and citron (sliced thin) buns. Husband loved them.

Order was shipped the same day that I placed it. Shipping box had some damage (something poked a hole through one side) but the contents were unharmed. The candied citron halves are nice and fresh -- not dried out, hard, and tasteless -- with a best by date well into next year. They are packed in a sturdy, resealable tub. Clean citron flavor; there is no weird aftertaste, unlike with the tiny citron(?) cubes sold in supermarkets. Buying citron halves and cutting them up myself means there is no chance of some mystery fruit slipping in undetected. Quick service, good product, and no complaints at all.

This is a traditional Christmas Treat in our family. This year I ordered from a new vendor, and it was not only half the price but equally as good
